What you get

Every Hunter installation job includes:

Hunter MP Rotators

Pressure-compensating heads that put down water at a rate the soil can absorb, not faster. Head-to-head coverage, no dry patches, no run-off.

Hunter Hydrawise wifi controller

Weather-aware scheduling, run from your phone, automatic rain skip, water-restriction-friendly. Programmed for you on day one.

Hunter PGV solenoid valves

Manifold-mounted in a valve box, easy access for service, five-year manufacturer warranty.

Hunter Pro-C zone control

Up to 14 zones on a single controller. Drip zones, lawn zones and pot lines all on one app.

Genuine parts only

Every Hunter component is ordered through authorised distribution. No grey-market hardware, no compatibility guesses.

Why us

The boring detail that matters.

We chose Hunter because the parts last and they're stocked across Melbourne. A future repair on a Hunter system is never a special order. A future owner of your home can service the system long after we've moved on, with any irrigation specialist in the city.

Questions

The things people ask before they call.

What's the difference between Hunter MP rotators and standard sprays?

Hunter MP rotators run at a much lower precipitation rate, which means the water has time to soak in instead of running off. They also produce a more even spread and use about 30 percent less water for the same coverage.

Can Hunter Hydrawise control my existing valves?

Yes, in most cases. Hunter Hydrawise is compatible with any standard 24V AC solenoid valve, so an existing system can usually be upgraded to wifi control without replacing the pipework.

How many zones will I need?

Most Melbourne homes run 3 to 6 zones. A small front lawn is one zone. A whole property with separate beds and back lawn is usually 4 to 6. We size it on the on-site visit.

Is Hunter better than Rainbird?

Both are excellent. We install both. Hunter has the edge on MP rotators and the Hydrawise app, Rainbird has the edge on commercial-grade controllers. We pick whichever suits your block.
