We're Michael and Daniel. Regal Irrigation is family-owned and run. Michael runs the system design, Daniel runs the plumbing. Between us, more than a decade putting in irrigation across Melbourne's south-east. We answer our own phones, we're on the tools on every job, and we live ten minutes from where most of our work is. If you call and we don't pick up, we're under a deck somewhere with a wrench.

Hunter Hydrawise and Rain Bird LNK both auto-adjust. They pull local weather data and skip watering when it rains. You can also lock in permanent water-rule schedules so the system stays compliant without you thinking about it.
Most of our clients on a smart controller use less water than they did hand-watering, because the system never over-waters and never forgets to skip a rainy day.
Yes. Standard on the Whole Property and Premium Smart packages is a dedicated drip line for garden beds. Drip uses far less water than sprays, sits below the mulch and waters exactly where the roots are.
For pots we run a drop line off the drip with adjustable emitters. One controller, every plant on the property.
Hunter and Rain Bird parts are stocked across Melbourne, so a future repair is never a special order. Service calls are a flat $149 to come out plus $399 for the service work itself, all in writing before we start.

Yes. We design head-to-head coverage so every metre of lawn is reached by at least two sprinklers, and we use pressure-compensating Hunter MP rotators on slopes to keep the water output even from top to bottom of the grade.
Tricky blocks are what the on-site quote is for. We measure pressure, look at the geometry and design for it.
Sir Walter loves a deep, less-frequent water. We program zones with longer run times but fewer days a week so the roots go deep. The MP rotators put down water at a rate the soil can absorb, which means no run-off and no shallow roots.
If you've got Sir Walter mixed with cool-season blends in shade, we'll usually zone them separately so each gets the schedule it actually wants.
